As of September 24th, Alec Baldwin has set the record for most times having ever hosted Saturday Night Live. It’s no surprise that they keep asking him back seeing as he’s a damn funny host and has been in a number of memorable sketches while having never actually been a cast member. From “Canteen Boy” to one of the drunken loudmouths in the “Bill Brasky” skits, he’s done great work. His most infamous skit however, is probably when he appeared as Pete Schweddy along side SNL cast members Ana Gasteyer and Molly Shannon in a fake NPR show called “Delicious Dish”. The skit parodies the overly easy-going tone of NPR as Baldwin, playing an owner of a holiday bakery called “Season’s Eatings”, proceeds to talk about his balls. Err… that is, balls of food. Popcorn balls, rum balls etc. And so the skit proceeds.
